Binary Trading is highly risky and is very hard to make money. Usually promoted as a 'get rich quick scheme' but is too good to be true like you said.

Maybe try a trial account first and not involve real money until you have seen the level of risk involved.

Using Binary Trading is like putting your cash on a horse at 50:1, if it wins you get a massive pay out but in all likelihood unless you know exactly what you are doing, its going to be a donkey

There's a number of threads on Whirlpool explaining binary options, if you want a quick source of existing local discussion.

Binary options are very hard to make money. You are effectively betting on a coin toss but they are adding a margin of a few % which shifts the long term average towards them.

The only way to win is to view historical trends ie. The dow jones increases 80% of the time from 4.15pm - 5.00pm on a Friday.
You then take the risk that it will continue to increase 80% of the time and you will come out ahead.

  • thanks for the replies, i shall pass them on

Binary option is no different from gambling. You may be better off playing blackjack at Crown where you can have some control over the outcome than "investing" in binary options.

Get dressed up, play some tables, have some drinks a nice meal, meet up with friends.
Sounds like a great night out.

Binary Options, stay home and lose on something you don't really understand.

I also heard that some of the websites are actually fraudulent. They use counters that don't display the correct pip at that moment in time. The prices and payouts are just based on an internal algorithm, similar to a pokie machine.

I've used some thing like this before worked on a 75% payout
but there are a few rules you need to go by.
the way the software shows you the bar graph or candle sticks as they refer to it.

We recently saw a warning issued regarding binary options issued by a bank on our lender panel (blog post here). It's worth a read if you are considering such an offer.
