PS4 Games Purchased from Amazon (United States)

Hi guys
I don't know much about region restrictions etc etc and I was looking for a solid yes or no answer for this so I'm hoping ozbargain community can help me out here. I want to know 100% if we can actually play PS4 games purchased from Amazon (United States)??

    PS4 games are region free

      really? that means I could have purchased a PS4 console from any country and also play ps4 games purchased from any country?

        physical disc yes.

        only digital copies are region locked but you can just create a new account and redeem the copy. once you download the game, it is playable by other accounts (no matter which region).

        Yes. But to add to henrikoez post the DVD/Bluray drive is region locked.
        So a US PS4 does not play Australian purchased DVD's.

        Games are fine but DLC can be a problem.

    And DLCs. Purchase DLCs for game from the same region you bough the game from.
