As expected, ME Bank have dropped their Online Savings Account Interest to total of 3.60% (Was 3.85%) for existing customers. It seems they've boosted the Bonus Offer to continue to attract new customers at 3.85%.
Variable base rate 2.25% p.a.
Savings Plus Bundle Offer 1.60% p.a.
So it appears they've cut the Base Rate by 2.25% so existing customers have got the 0.25% drop.
Logging into account shows 3.60%
The Bonus Interest Rate is simply from linking to an Everyday Transaction Account (which was easy when signing up). 5% rebatefor PayPass is an extra bonus

that clarifies things. By existing customers you meant those on the introductory bonus interest rate.

Thanks for the heads up. How did you confirm that the rate for existing customers is 3.6% ? I forget if there are any conditions to receive it such as minimum monthly deposits or no withdrawals.
