Could those things be purchased from a supermarket then prepared yourself for the same cost, or cheaper? (minus the convenience of course)

But with option 1 you can pretend to be a Masterchef or something (or Heston Blumenthal).
The main consideration re the change to $10 off (for me at least) is that the minimum spend is $20… so that crosses over/breaches the tipping-point, where it becomes substantially cheaper for me to just make the food myself. Especially if you have no (decent/economically priced) 'free-delivery' options in your area… No point paying $5 extra to have sommat delivered that you would happily have walked down the road to get, or picked up on the way home from work, or eaten in, etc…
TBH though, I really appreciated/enjoyed the Delivery-Hero 'month(+) of madness'… it will go down in OzB history, I'm sure. I tried a heap of joints I wouldnae have tried otherwise (for better, and worse!), and all at very low cost, thanks to DH! And my understanding is that those places got paid in full; DH 'bridged the gap'…
To me it's a bit like the 'AMEX shop small' thingy… I don't quite understand it, but I really hope it happens again…
