I was interested in buying Surface 3 and comparing it to the pro. I noticed that Microsoft increased it price on late April or May. Probably on May 3 when Surface 3 launched. The cheapest on was priced $979 and now $1,149. Quite an increase.

Yeah, I know. But no one seems to noticed it. Should have bought it before. Now I rather wait for the 4th version.
I started looking at the surface pro a few months back, ended up with a HP envy x2 as it suited what I wanted, been happy with my choice since, just too through something else into the mix for you.
How is the pen compared to surface pro 3?
Have a watch of this, covers the pen at about 11 min mark (which did come in the box for me from office works)
Actually if you could get officeworks to beat the price I first linked it would certainly be a good price.
It doesn't look as good as the picture. The silver bezel kills it for me.
