I played it recently, and I can agree with this. But then, on the other hand, I know a Total War fan who hates this iteration, soooooooo.
Man, opinions are hard.
The good thing with opinions though is that you don't have to know what you're actually talking about to have one.
Im a bit biased, but I think this is the most awesome total war game if you arent too heavily invested in guns being everywhere
