I am still looking to purchase a 50 inch LED for the man cave. Waiting for some decent EOFY sales. Maybe of interest to some that Changhong has launched Free 5-Year Warranty Promotion to all Changhong 50”, 55” and 65” televisions in Australian market. Promotional Period Between (and including) 10 April 2015 and 31 July 2015. Don't think it's worth posting as a deal so stuck it here in forums. What l am more suprised about is the fact retailers that sell this brand have not used this promotion as a selling attraction in their sales. Anybody care to comment if these TV's are any good.

they are generic shitty chinese tvs
same as bauhn, okano, dse and whatever trash out there
best to use one in person in the shops and see if you like the setup
The remotes are crap, they have light ghosting, switching channels is slow, and the infrared receiver on the tv is very linear meaning you have to point the remote at it to work. You get what you pay for. Sumsung are good when it comes to televisions. Don't buy anything less than 100hz.
