Optus Netflix Codes

Hello

I have a us netflix account, and I read I can put the optus codes in , but I'm having no luck, it keeps saying code is invalid.

Can someone who has had success point me in the right direction.

    Use the link shown in the SMS from Optus, and not go directly on the Netflix page. Once you get a code from the Optus link, use that on your Netflix account. I was having the same issue as you until I figured it out.

  • BEWARE OF OPTUS NETFLIX OFFER - I PAID $29 for NOTHING…

    I am deeply frustrated and sick with Optus customer service!!

    I tried few times calling for support since I got my handset ordered online dead after 2days use (it's an ZTE cheap model for $29). I brought it to store, and was told they can send it back to optus warehouse for a fee of $50.
    Forget it! I won't bother to do that. I thought I'll just wait for my 3-months netflix voucher and be happy with it.

    I waited 2 weeks, still didnt get any voucher sent to me. I called to inquiry the matter, the customer assistant put request for resend, and promised that the voucher code will be sms-ed to my number in 48 hours.

    Still I did't receive the SMS. Two weeks later (my time worths more than keep calling optus everyday), finally I contacted optus again 3days ago (through the chat service), and guess what?? the rep said, the voucher has been sent out and successfully redeemed ~ but he couldn't tell me which number/username who did it. WHAT THE ???

    End of story, he promised marketing will investigate the matter and somebody will call me back in 48hr, never happen!

    OK - I DONT HAVE ANY MORE PATIENCE LEFT.

    Maybe $29 is a small value of money, I don't care anymore if I will ever receive the voucher. To me that optus-netflix marketing offer is just PLAIN RUBBISH (should I say SCAM?)- doesn't worth the trouble I went through.

  • It's been a month after activation and I still haven't got optus voucher. They now gave me some "request number". Anyone on the same boat as me?

    I've literally called them like 5 times and the <$15 voucher is seriously way more hassle than I've bargained for.

    • i used the optus chat and request the code, it was processed and sent to me via sms …. get them to resend it to sms or email till you get it.

  • I'm in a similar situation that I am trying to redeem two codes for services I have started. Contacted Optus 4 times.
    phone call 1 - Says I will receive codes within 48 hours via email. Received nothing.
    Phone call 2 - Says I will receive codes with 15 minutes via text message. Received nothing.
    Chat 1 - Says they can't help as no one in the correct area is around. Says to contact later and they can transfer the chat to someone who can help. Phone number given for me to call leads direct to NBN inquiries.
    Chat 2 - Can't help me and can't transfer over chat to someone who can help me. Tell me to contact complaints. Phone number leads to generic Optus number (not complaints).

    At this point I'm probably going to take all the units back to the point of purchase minus the SIMs and get a refund and cut the SIM cards in front of them if required.
