[StartHere] sportingbet moneyback

OK signed up for this but haven't credited account yet. I don't want to do this unless I can get the moneyback.

The transaction doesn't show up in moneyback as pending or tracking (it's been a couple days)- should it? Basically, I don't know if the deal still applies.

Any thoughts?

  • As the conditions on the Sportingbet MBC page state:

"Commission paid per initial funding deposit of $30."

I know that the merchant will not list a transaction or commission (moneyback) until this deposit is paid. Additionally there is a finite limit to the amount of time you can wait from the setting up of the account to funding it with $30 in order for the transaction to track. Don't ask me what that limit is as we're not party to it, but the network have told us there is one!?

    Cheers, Steve.

  • I signed up about a month (or more) ago. After 2 weeks of the transaction not showing up on moneybackco, I raised an enquiry and after that it was all sorted out by MBC and it's now shown as approved in my moneyback account. Hope that helps.

Note that you need to have bet all your initial deposit and winnings from any free bet before they let you withdraw all the money in your account.

  • Good to know kcyw, I sent an enquiry in last week so hopefully I receive some feedback soon.

  • It's been sorted, woo!

  • Quick question, how many times are you allowed to sign up to Sportingbet? I've noticed for some campaign (like the BankWest ones, for example) it explicitly stated you cannot sign up more than once or breached rule blah blah blah while for the Sportingbet it doesn't actually say.

Can I safely assume I can open as many times as I like and still get the $90?

    • Well, you need to provide proof of identity for every account, so unless you are signing up for someone else, obviously you can't get the moneyback.

    • Their Terms and Conditions

      • Only one 'Join and Fund' Free Bet per member and per residence is allowed and each member must fund their account using their own credit card or own bank account.
  • Well, I finally got my moneyback too. I managed to have a win on a few long shots with the free $100 bet, so I didn't do too badly :)

    • Likewise $90 cashback approved, $75 on my free $100 bet and still have my $30, so I gain of $165. Only thing is I need to turn over the $75 to be able to withdraw it - any tips??

      • Wait few more weeks for footy :) Go you mighty Port!
BTW how is this free bet & moneyback really work? Is it still valid?

        • You sign up and place $30 in your account and verify who you are. Then follow up in 4 weeks or so with MBC - that should give you the $90 back - check with MBC that this is still running.

You place free bet - if you win then you need to turn over bet winning again before you can withdraw. Ie Bet $100 win $200, now you have $100 in your account. - they take out the original free bet money so its only the $100. Bet this $100 and win say $50, you will now have $150 you can withdraw.

Yep these conditions really mean you free bet needs to be bet twice - obviously reducing your odds, BUT it is a FREE bet so you really lose nothing, except the potential. AND you still get the $90 back so you are at least $60 up. Now that's a few pizzas at $4.95 - for free, although you do have to wait.

The St have better ruckmens but the problem is how good at their away games?
I think the Saints can win this & will be, but close game :)
