Wall mounting an 11" Win8 Samsung tablet.

Hi guys, I'm wanting to have a wall mount in the kitchen for my tablet. It won't live there permanently, but it will charge while in its mount.

What kind of solutions are there? I read an article that said the cheapest solution is to buy a wall hanger for display crockery plates! They are ~$5!

I was thinking of maybe getting a tilt and swivel one though. I found this for $30 but not sure if it would work. http://www.warcom.com.au/shop/flypage/monitor_stands/brateck…

All help appreciated!

    • Yeah I saw those, it's a good idea but in the spot where I want to put it I don't think it would work very well.

    • I like this idea. I could even buy the $30 swivel mount and just stick velcro on it so I can move the tab out and around to where I need it depending on what I'm doing in the kitchen/dining :)

Try this one, not sure if you're ok with screwing to the wall. But i used this on my old samsung series 7 slate (11"), still using it on my surface pro now.

    • That looks pretty nice, are you using it for a wall or for your car? Would you just bend it into the direction you want to use it if it were on the wall?

      • Im actually using it for bed lol, so i can have my tablet straight over my head (no stiff necks when watching movies). Yeah you can bend it around, it takes abit of effort though

  • Hey all, for those interested I set this all up yesterday. Used a $50 wall mount from The Good Guys and $10 of heavy duty velcro from Masters (both using 20% off ebay and cashrwards of course!) so it came to under $50 and I have about 95% of the 1m of velcro left over!

You'll notice it purposely hides an ugly rj45 wall plate :)

    Take a look here!

Still figuring out what to do with the cable management. It's not permanent so we're thinking maybe just a hook to wrap it around the corner.
