So this is a little bit of a long shot.
Essentially I am chasing a second or third gen i3/i5/i7 LGA1155 CPU.
A fellow in my street asked if I could take a look at a desktop he had sitting around.
The PC was his sons and is missing the CPU and RAM. I have some DDR3 kicking around left over from a recent upgrade, so that ram get used here rather than collecting dust.
The fellow has been out of work for a few months so I am wanting to cut him a break and get this PC up and running for him.
OZB. being the tech savy community it is, I wanted to reach out and see if any one had a suitable CPU sitting around.
I am not asking for charity, I am more than happy to pay you for the CPU.
You would have much better luck on the OCAU sell and trade forums. You need to be a member for at least 90 days to access it though. Basically to buy or sell you need to have a presence… a total newbie won't be able to utilize the trading forum.
