I purchased a Kenwood kMix KMX51 Stand Mixer recently from the JB sale. It came with quite a few attachments but i'm unsure of how to actually put on a couple.

I've never had one of these mixers before and couldn't find any answers on youtube/google so hopefully ozbargain will help me out.

Thanks for that! I couldn't figure it out was driving me nuts.
I wonder what mixer those other attachments are for. It was an Ex Display unit so it makes sense why some wrong attachments could be in the box. I do have quite a few attachments so hopefully i got them all. I'll have to investigate further.
No problems. The 3 odd beaters might have come from a Sunbeam Mixer.

Make sure you have the right ones as soon as possible because it might be difficult to chase down any missing attachments if it was a display. If you find any mix matches, go back into the store to find the correct attachment.
You're absolutely right. They are most definitely sunbeam attachments. As for my Kmix i double checked and all the included attachments that should of come with it did. It's a mystery how i got these other attachments.

Hi escimojoe, for first attachment you simply screw the metal rod into the plastic beater until it is secure. Then you push the attachment into the attachment hole above the bowl until you hear a click. For the other three attachments, I am sorry to say but they are not for your Kenwood Kmix stand mixer as they attach differently. Make sure the attachments you received are correct by checking with your user manual. But from memory Kenwood Kmixes should come with a K-beater (beater with a K), Balloon Whisk and Dough Hook. They should all be metal not white plastic covered.
