  • Have a look at Bingle, pricing is excellent. There are a few conditions they have that others don't however if you can live with those, they are unbeatable in my opinion.

    • I second that..Bingle as long as you don't want the extra's which Big ones have ( NRMA/Allianz)

      • If anyone cares, I third bingle!

        • I fourth Bingle too! Way cheaper than anyone else I could find.

          @Flying Ace:

          Quite surprised at that, thought my Coles price couldn't be beaten, but Bingle are $100 cheaper.

  • Take time to do some online quotes with all the majors e.g Suncorp, RACQ, AAMI as well. When I last reviewed in Feb I found $400 difference between these. Saved heaps. Be careful about policy wording of Bingle. Read it carefully. It does not pay for d amage to either your property or that of a family member.

  • Bingle might be cheap but beware as I found out they can use really bad repairers ( which hey is ok if you have a cheap car) but if you have a european car then that can cause issues as I have found. I have found that AAMI has the best service for those that seem to be a magnet for folks to run into you and every year I now do an online quote when my insurance is due and go figure it is always cheaper than the renewal… so I call and they match the price.. lol

  • Bing Lee not cheap for me dont know why:(

      Probably because Bing Lee don't really specialise in car insurance. Have you tried Bingle instead?

  • I tried online with 5+ companies but none will match Coles agreed value.
    2nd year same premo but car value down $4k!!!!!
    Hoping never have to use prepare…. Youi ringing daily to see if they can get me….

    If you do an online quote with aami and have it emailed. After a few days they will send you a reminder to do it by midnight and as an incentive they'll send you a $50 gift card. I just got this email today but already paid my insurance in full. So sad =(

  • So in conclusion Coles insurance is the cheapest?

  • Wow - Awesome! Just got Comprehensive for $325 - $75 lower than SGIO, even with their 15% off for Flybuys

  • I'm more concerned that your insurance lapsed and you haven't decided yet. I hope you don't drive the car until you sort this out.
