      Black is boring

    • You don't want the black one. Everyone has black luggage in the airport. I'd rather have the red one as it stands out when you're picking up your luggage. It will save you a little extra time.

  • Can it go flat?

  • Have a look at the high Sierra website for better photo's. Great deal O.P . Can't buy it online as the MYER online site seems down…anyone else had difficulties trying to buy one?

    • sites working fine for me, I also have a link in post to the Sierra site like you suggested :)

      • Yeah, worked it out great deal thanks again. I'll get half back on tax so even better…

  • if you are looking to stand this thing up on its end, you cant. Otherwise the bag looks good.

    • it shows It standing up in the link in post from the actual Sierra site

      • yea but in reality, it doesnt, it just falls over. This is nothing to stand on other than wheels on one side.

  • Looks like it is 83.65 now.

    • thats the pick up price.

  • I've got this bag (at a warehouse sale!) and I must say it's pretty great.

Just a couple of things for people to be aware of:
    1) It can't stand up on its end (annoying when waiting in line)
    2) It shows signs of wear + tear fairly quickly (after one or two turns in the baggage carousel)

But otherwise, it's a fairly robust unit with great storage capacity!

    • Gday,

As someone who owns this bag can you explain how the shoulder straps work? I was expecting to have them zipped away inside the bag or something, but nothing?

  • sierra bags are pretty good. i bought a similar one few years back. looks scruffy and the zip did snap off first day, but the bag itself seems would last 10 years or so of solid airport useage.

  • out of stock

  • Bought a similar High Sierra over 10 years ago, still going strong. Zips are great, fabric good and stitching A1.

  • I bought the one from Myer Parramatta, there are heaps left. When they scanned it, it has the original price, but when I showed the counter the online price, he manually put in the bargain price.

  • I'm still thinking if I should buy it or buy a suitcase with 360 wheels instead… For the same price, can I find a good suitcase 360º ?

  • I got mine delivered today, am I the only one who can't locate the 'retractable shoulder straps'?

    Thanks for the deal OP.

    • same here

      • Asked Myer for help and they said it's an inaccurate description on their website :(

        • but same description also on high sierra's website :(
