Keep up the great work :)

Thought I would get up early for this one.

      • Anything around May/June 2016 to Amsterdam?

        • Not at these prices, sorry.

  • i wonder if these prices will stay till after tax time.
who does KLM code share with on the downunder journey?

    • +2

Etihad, Malaysia Air, Garuda. The latter is good if you want to combine this with a trip to Bali (not sure if these rates will allow you to do this though). Malaysia is good if you prefer to keep the trip split into 2 equal legs (timewise).

    • +1

For the flight dates that I could find, they were all Etihad.

      • +1

Thats good to know, Etihad Y is acceptable.
        Thanks once again IWantThatFlight

Sometimes they code share with Jetstar - avoid that. Of all the airlines you can take, Jetstar is probably the only one that will make you pay to use the in-flight entertainment.

Also, make sure you don't have a stopover in Bali; you will be forced to exit the terminal (after paying for an Indonesian visa), carry your bags to the terminal next door, then go through security and pay an airport tax. It ends up costing about AUD60 to change planes at Bali.

How about around August / September / beginning of Oct from Syd? I can only find $1600. Will be traveling 3 weeks.

    Thanks :) Off on Sunday!!!!!!!!!!

    • What do you mean?

he making a bad joke in reference to marijuana consumption

good flight times… can bail on a friday night, and be smoking up on a dutch saturday night

  • Unfortunate that sail 2015 ( https://www.sail.nl/en/ ) during August seems to be a blackout period . Amazing event that is well worth the effort as it's only on once every 5 years . Can't recommend this event enough .

  • Are Travelgenio all good to book through (who the deal redirects to)? Haven't heard of them before.

  • Rep would like to book with you guys - do you know if any of these sales can be used to get to Prague in October this year and back? From Sydney? Just at work at the moment but will have a play later when I get home, if you can point me in the right direction that would be really helpful. Thanks!

  • 21st seems to be the day to leave.. im on that klm flight so nobody else travel that date I want a row to myself ;)

  • A few Malaysian airlines flight to Europe @<$1500 and flying with double deck A380 which is which appealing.
Has anyone flying with recently? Care to share some feedback?

Is code sharing means operated by other airline including planes and crews or just the crews?
Eg. KLM airlines (operated by MAS/Garuda/Etihad)

    • code sharing means operated by other planes AND crews…

don't see how you can just share the crew….

  • Rep,
Any cheap flights for Thailand at the end September to early October coming up???

    • Not that I know of, but will post them on OZB when they do.

  • Hi Rep, are there any cheap flights to paris during june/july?

    • Not at the moment.

    • If you don't mind booking different tickets you should be about to get a return for around $1100 depending where you're travelling from and what dates you're looking at.

      • I'm travelling from Sydney, pretty flexible with dates, which different tickets would I need to buy?

        • How long are you looking for? You'd need to get discount flight to KUL or SIN….

        • +1

I've lost the original fare type I found but here is an example:

SYD-SIN Return with Scoot +20KG baggage 13/07-04/08 = $506 these fares are available most days and if you wait until the Tuesday when Scoot has discounts you should hope for around $450 less again if you don't need checked baggage.

          SIN-CDG(Paris) 13/07- 03/08 = $790AU with Malaysian airlines on cheaptickets.sg

          = $1296

The original fare I searched for was departing SIN and returning to KUL which was slightly less but also meant less travel time as you could catch an easier flight with AirAsia from KUL, just have to change terminals. I can't seem to find that flight anymore.

I have seen cheap fares SIN/KUL-CDG-SYD with Etihad recently as well. If you'd like me to search then let me know and I can have a look.

Also remember that it will take longer in transit changing airlines/rechecking bags but you could also use it as a night or two stopover in Asia on both legs.

        • @zappy_32:

Thanks for that, I was looking to stay for about 3 weeks to a month. If you could find out which Etihad flights I could take as well that'd be great

          @oviene:

The Etihad flights are a bit of a pain to find, I'll post one in a few minutes. I'm not sure if you've already seen the Vietnam Airlines or Jet Airlines flight if you want to stay on booking can also be had for $1225 on Vietnam Airlines but I'd imagine it would be painful…

          16/07 10:15 SYD 06:30 CDG Total 28h 15m 1 stop (SGN)
          08/08 13:45 CDG 08:15 SYD Total 34h 30m 1 stop (SGN)
          $1225

I'd rather this even with 2 stops will less travel and a lot of the trip on Qantas/Air France:

          @zappy_32:

This is a quick Etihad I found but you could probably find better, it's on the Etihad site and I just tried some random flights….

          Extras
          Seats
          TOTAL:SGD 1319.80( AUD $1270)

You'd need the Scoot/Jetstar to Singapore again so you're looking at around $1500 but there's also flights via KUL if you can be bothered to experiment you should be able to find cheaper. If you haven't been to Singapore or KL before you can use it as a quick stopover/shopping/reduce jetlag stop on the way.

        • @zappy_32:

Thanks so much for all your help, will definitely look into these flights

  • hey i'm after flights to europe (amsterdam works, though paris or berlin would be preferable) early january to early march. any bargains around then? can't find anything entering specific dates.

  • I can't seem to find those prices for Brisbane in your link, does that mean they're sold out or did I screw up the search?

    • Hi,

The flight data is taken searches made on iwantthatflight.com.au, and it looks like not many people have been searching that route. The sale is on the same days for all departure points, so try the same dates as the $1090 Perth to Amsterdam.

      Eg, this is $1209:
