Playstation Plus required for the full discount, depending on what/how much you're purchasing it could be cheaper to buy a month or 3 of plus then use the discount.

Yep I already own a few but it looks like I'll be able to find something good to try, leaning towards Metro Redux (2 well reviewed games for $21.99 seems good to me).

Unfortunately I already bought all of the games I'm interested in from this sale. It's only Tropico I'm after but not at that price, maybe $25.
What are the prices? When I looked at it, without ps plus, they were SHOCKING. Never seen such crap prices! Multiple were >$100, many >$80
In this sale PS+ doubles the discount (hence the sales title). For example Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is 35% off for non-PS+ which means 70% off for PS+ subscribers. OP points out that it may be beneficial to purchase a short subscription just for the extra discount. Without subscription the sale is very meh. The Playstation store prices are generally overpriced but has the advantage of being digital and allowing for game sharing (via shared accounts) which can further halve the cost.
Damn, finally some good deals on PS4 games :D
