I need to clean my BBQ. Not the hot plates, but burners and surrounds. I've got lots of cans of super cheap degreaser, anybody used that before? Will it leave unwanted odour? Open to ideas. Perhaps oven cleaner? Home made cleaner recipes?

Vinegar and bicarb soda.
Make a paste, leave it on for a while.
Pour vinegar over the paste and scrub.
