Recently we had a huge discount from Dicksmith @14%. Now I see OW selling it for $2699, this is the 5K with thunderbolt 1TB. Apple still selling it for $31xx.

Apple is selling the newest model, whereas the model that is frequently on sale (and the one you are referring to) was presented last year. Still great value though.
