Lowepro Flipside 300 Camera Backpack Black $19 @ Officeworks Online Free C&C (or $5.95 delivery)

130

Found on their website marked as clearance. It appears no stores have stock however Click and Collect is available and postage is only $5.95

OW previously had it on sale for $89 (from this deal)
Next cheapest I can find is $60+ on ebay from overseas so seems to be a pretty good saving.

Lowepro's site has better pictures of it. They also have a feature allowing you to see if your camera/lenses will fit in it (can hold full frame body with 70-200 lens)

Looks like a decent camera bag, especially for the price. The zipper to the main compartment of the bag is on "body-side" which is good security and easy to access. Can hold a tripod on the back too.

Its not a huge bag, but its size makes it good for portability, especially for travel.

Internal Dimensions: 230W x 138D x 405H mm
External Dimensions: 258W x 174D x 445H mm

Only downsides I've found from reviews is its poor water resistance with no raincoat. My easy fix is putting some plastic bags from woolies over it (patent pending) ;)

To anyone who's used one it would be great to know your experience, especially with the practicality of the body-side opening.

Also I wonder how the Click & Collect will go if no stores have stock, I'm thinking in terms of how long it will take compared to delivery.

Anyway, enjoy :)

I have a different model of Lowepro flipside that has lasted me years of being dragged through weddings and across international borders. If this model is anything like it, there's no reason to hesitate. Except of course, if you already have a perfectly good camera bag that doesn't need replacing v_v

  • Also I wonder how the Click & Collect will go if no stores have stock

    Pear shaped

  • Better be quick. Only 2 left in stock.

  • Well, there doesn't seem to be any stock anyway near me…

Called OW blacktown, the guy that answered wasn't very professional… told me to hold, started speaking in another language and then hung up on me.

OW Castle Hill was better, but no stock available either…

    • Wow thats pretty rude. Their website showed me no stock around Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane stores. I've ordered online with delivery in hopes it will be quicker than click and collect (and without the hassle, especially with no stock in stores).

      • how do youorder it online? says not available for online order?

    • I'm finding lately that Officeworks customer service standards are below par with other retailers.
I'm also noting their hiring practices have changed.

  • Can't see any stock anywhere…?

    • Yeah, only online, with click and collect in store or $5.95 delivery. I've updated the title to be clearer.

  • Paypal cannot be processed as the item is out of stock.

  • ‘Sorry…
Something went wrong with the page you were looking for.’

  • so cheapp…. great bag. bought this around 8 months ago.

    Your Patent? or Woolworths? ^_^

    Have a great weekend guys…

  • Great bag for the money. Have had one for a few years. Much higher quality and more durable than the Acme backpack recently posted, which was also going at this price (back to standard price now).

  • They still haven't shipped mine. Has anyone actually received theirs yet?

  • After 3 weeks and 3 emails with no reply, they finally contacted me saying they have no stock and are only now refunding me the money. Rubbish. Even when officeworks has stock online, they don't have stock online.
