KitchenAid Artisan Mixer KSM160 $639, KSM156 $679 + Free Food Processor Attachment @ David Jones

120

Hi all,

This is my very first post for a deal. Long time reader, usually I am too slow. I thought this deal was alright, but I'll leave it up to you guys to decide if it is or not.

KSM160 is $639 (with bonus food processor attachment worth $299RRP)
KSM156 is $679 (with bonus food processor attachment worth $299RRP)

Once you add these to the basket, the food processor attachment is automatically added at $299 with a promotional discount of $299. Hence it is free.

There is a link to the deal on the two sites above as well.

I also used my QANTAS FF points to buy gift cards at DJs which ended up being cheaper than the deal for the KSM160 during the QANTAS FF half yearly sales.

I rang Kitchenaid and asked the difference between the KSM160, KSM 150, KSM 156. The only differences are the bowls that come with the unit and the colours offered. The actual mixer mechanics are the same.
I hope this helps.

EDIT: The attachment is out of stock online, but I managed to click and collect from Wollongong and they had the attachment.

    • Ah ya loser! Not enough time spent on OB! :-P

Everything goes on my Amex by default these days

  • This is awesome price. Too bad just bought a Professional model few weeks ago…

  • Cant get the food processor even with click and collect (still shows out of stock).

the free food processor attachment was a mothers day promo

  • I am a vintage kenwood man myself you can pick them up pretty cheap on eBay, they are heavy, noisy, clunky things but very hard to kill and have heaps of attachments and everything is big and simple when it comes to repairs. Not sure if there are many other benefits to these as in do they do a better or worse job kneading and mixing. Still noting gets as much use as the 5 buck Chief hand mixer we have
