Hi guys,
I am after a new laptop and willing to spend between $1-1.5k. I have been keeping an eye on deals but there hasnt really been anything good recently.
I will be using the laptop for work with occasional gaming (mainly older games)
Criteria is the following
-Good battery life
-SSD
-13 or 15 inch display
Suggestions would be great.
Dell XPS 13 is really a niche product like the Macbook. I returned mine and got a Lenovo X1 carbon, don't regret it. Similar ball park, fan is much quiet, keyboard is much nicer. Trade off for a few looks.

What did you dislike about the Dell XPS13?
Just had a look at the dell. Looks like some are complaining about issues with the track pad and keyboard.
I see that the ram is also non expandable too so it's a no go for me.
Any other ideas?
Windows doesn't manage ultra HD very well yet.
You could wait for a 13" Macbook Air to be discounted.
