Churchview Estate Shiraz Restocked - $99/Case + $9 P&H ($9/Bottle Delivered) @Vinomofo

50

Hey

I've been looking for another case to buy and this ticks all the boxes. All the cheap wines of Vinomofo have been pretty decent, I haven't had any bad batches yet. I love that the bottles are so cheap that I don't feel guilty when I use them to cook (great for making a gravy to go with red meats). There have been cheaper deals for different wines, but this is just the perfect time to get over the winter blues for the winter break.

This one is stated as $22 on vinomofo but it is cheaper at justwines where it is $14.99/bottle, still a $6 saving per bottle delivered.

If you've never ordered from Vinomofo, feel free to use my referral link below and we will both get $25 credit, making it $83 for the case delivered :)

In case anyone wants to know how to make killer gravy.

When roasting beef, add garlic, onion and various herbs (I like rosemary with the wine) into the cooking dish. After the beef is done, take out the meat and leave to rest. While your beef is resting throw the roasting dish onto the stove and once its pretty hot, mix in a tablespoon or two of flour. Add bit of beef stock(or water if you don't have any) and scrape off all the lovely beefy stuff off the bottom. Put a glass of red wine in there and whisk it while it reduces. Once its the thickness you want (might have to reduce it for 5-10minutes depending on how much liquid and how concentrated you like it), pour it into a serving jug. Quickly clean the roasting dish while its hot, it shouldn't be hard because you already deglazed it with the beef stock. Once you're done, your beef should be rested, gravy ready and you should be good to go!

    • +1 for the additional gravy tip!
