Im looking for a flight in the school holidays of October and none of the carries flights cross paths (Jetstar price beat). Do i just take it on the chin and purchase a full price flight or will the airlines provide more flight times in the months/weeks/days coming to the date?
And also does anyone know if you're able to purchase Jetstar gift cards with a reduction on price?

tiger just opened up a flight on the return flight at 6:45 which now crosses paths with the jetstar fights at 7:25!

I found the same price but 10:55 or 11am departure!
I think you should take it,
that is the cheapest you can get, other wise you can take a train $100 return around 8-9 hours traveling time
