Coffee and Coffee Flavoured Foods/Drinks

Hi

I was wondering what people's favourite coffee beans or coffee flavoured foods are eg kopiko, coffee cakes, coffee liquor? I need some ideas in coming up with a coffee hamper for a friend's birthday present and being the non-coffee drinker I am, I need some help! It would be a plus if they could be purchased in store somewhere as well.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Chocolate covered coffee beans!

    • Any brand in particular you recommend? I was either going to go to kokoblack or haighs.

      • 'Meiji coffee beat' can be had from most Japanese grocery stores, it's awesome

  • chocolate coffee beans from haighs or koko black are quite good!

Sorry but those are disgusting. Just bitter and no taste of coffee at all.

+1. Couldn't taste coffee in any way.

  • In the Asian groceries you can buy little cans of sweetened coffee! I don't drink it much so can't recommend a brand but if you need a few cheap things to fill up the hamper at the end you can give them a try. You might also find a few interesting things in the grocery stores!! There might be coffee flavoured pocky or something…

I also like the Korean instant mocha, brand is maxim! but if your friend is a coffee connoisseur then they probably won't like it. Make them a tiramisu =D

I recalled there was a coffee thing coming up but found out it's not till September, maybe you can get tickets? http://thecoffeeexperience.com.au/visitors/purchase-tickets/

  • Tiramisu? Coffee/Chocolate lindt balls?

  • Cappuccino flavoured Jelly Belly beans.

Depending on your location, you could try specialty lolly shops that sell individual Jelly Belly flavours (I know of one in Sydney, not sure of your location though OP) or go hunting online like on eBay.

    mmm Jelly Belly.

    • I'm located in Sydney. What shop is this?

Re the confectionary warehouse link - I've never seen anywhere sell a single flavour in a 1kg portion!! That is quite a lot of candy!

You can drop in to their warehouse and buy in person: details

Perhaps they could sell you a smaller quantity? Perhaps give them a call first? I've never been there myself but it's on my must-visit list lol.

Hey that's not too far away. OMG that place looks so dangerous….

        • No you can't, unless youre a wholesaler. Or at least willing to buy wholesale quantities.

I was there just last week and they specifically told me they'd be updating the site to mention this. And they did, 30 mins after I left.

          Welcome to Bonfect
