These are not silver plated. These are stainless steel.

Silver plated earrings can be plated over any metal, most commonly nickel, which a lot of people are allergic to.

Our earrings are stainless steel which are hypo-allergenic. You cannot get an allergy from stainless steel, therefore are a much superior metal to put in your ear, thus the price difference to cheaper pairs that you will find on eBay.

Most jewellers won't carry silver plated for that very reason because they don't want to risk their customers getting an allergy.

    Just thought I'd add my experience with these. When they arrived I was quite impressed with these. Unfortunately yesterday one of the pearls fell off. Not sure where it has gone. The earring was still attached to the ear - just missing the pearl…

      I bought a couple of pairs for my daughters. Exactly the same thing happended with one pair straight out of the envelope when we were taking the back clip thing off to put on. I phoned the company who immediately sent a new pair no questions asked, this arrived about 5 or 6 days later. So well worth ringing and doing the same if you want a replacement.
