Help Me Find a Decent Ironing Board

I'm getting annoyed with my ironing board leaving metal mesh marks on all of my shirts, so thought the time has come to invest in a new one.

I've had a bit of look around and noticed that a quality one would cost more than 100 bucks. Now I don't mind paying a little extra for something that will last a few more years and most importantly doesn't leave marks on my shirts, but spending over $100 is a little excessive. I was thinking more around the $50 mark.

Can anyone recommend a good one or does anyone have this one Ikea Danke Ironing Board - $39 and can recommend it?

Why not just buy a new good quality (well padded) cover to cover your old ironing board?

    • I should have mentioned, the old one is the table top variety. Looking for a standalone one.

  • I'm also trying to find a decent one that's under 148cm high when folded, not having much luck!

  • I am also still looking for a high quality board at bargain price..

    • Well, it seems we have a bit of an 'ironing board bargain shortage' here.

Bunnings has a selection ranging from $19 to $114.

I didn't realise Bunnings even sells these until I spotted some last week. It may be worthwhile going to your local store to compare the models:
