We use one when camping to cook evening meals and boil a kettle half a dozen times a day.
A 4.5kg lasts something like 5 or 6 weeks with this daily usage.
I would urge you to get a 9kg bottle, however, as at the supermarket linked petrol stations a 9kg (well, 8.5kg) swap refill is often on special for the same price as a 4.5kg - $25.
The cheapest way to get hold of one is to visit your local rubbish tip and go to the recycling shed.
There they will have many out-of-date cylinders that you may take for free.
If you then swap it at a Coles Express they will take out-of-date cylinders for no extra charge.
Once you have an in-date cylinder you can swap/refill it anywhere. Cheapest refill near me is about $18.

I have two cylinders, so when one runs empty I can swap it for the full one and take my time refilling it.

    • Thanks. Just a silly Q, is is cost efficient to use this type of burners for daily cooking (lets say 2 times per day for max 30mins) compared to using the induction cooktops?

Induction should be substantially cheaper. Buying gas in a cylinder is approximately double the cost of town gas (and that is the big cylinders!). Town gas is approximately on par with induction on costs - although there are differing opinions.
Induction has other efficiencies too, as it doesn't produce much waste heat.
This type of stove is best suited when normal "domestic" cooking isn't available (outdoors/travel/camping).
A 30 minute induction cooking session is likely to cost around 12 cents, so you can make a comparison.
