I'm thinking this is a pretty good deal and at a good hotel especially in suite as we will have 2 kids in tow - I'm keen to get on board as we want to go away early August.

That's pretty good. When I go through Thailand, my rough budget is 1000 Baht ($30-40) a day which includes food, lodging, drink and scooter hire. Keep in mind that is for a solo traveler which means street food and hostel (mostly dorms). It's not as much of a huge steal as they're making it out to be with '73% off,' but $100 per day for 2 adults and 2 kids with dinners, is cheap for a resort.
