I made a purchase of $201 on David jones online store via cashrewards. There was only one item. As per 6% cash rewards for David jones I should have been getting $12.06 but its showing $10.23 instead. Interesting to note here is that cashrewards is showing I made a purchase of $182.73 instead of $201.
I did not use any coupon or paypal on DJ website. Made a straight payment of $201 through my credit card. Shipping was free.
it was a giftcard purchase so no gst. I know I should not be expecting any cashrewards at all for gift cards but what I am whining about is correct amount not being recorded.
the reason you received cash rewards as it's probably too hard to verify and cross check what you purchased.in this case a gift card.

So you have already got 90% more than you should, stop worrying about the rest 10%.
you should whine to cashrewards and let us know the outcome… instead of an Ozbargain forum..

You'll find that many only counts the ex-GST part of the transaction. Unfortunately you don't get the cashback from the tax paid to the government :(
