Xylitol Gum

Hey folks,

I want to try out xylitol gum. Anyone know where to purchase it in Australia? So far I've only been able to get a good deal on iherb or ebay (100 PCs).

Checked a few Asian stores but couldn't find them.

Thanks.

Health food stores. I buy this one -> http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HT6RWHM?psc=1 or this one: http://www.amazon.com/Xlear-Spry-Gum-Peppermint-100/dp/B0012…
You can buy them in the little packets at health food stores, just couldn't find a pic

    • Sounds good. Do you perhaps know how much the big packs go for approximately?

Xylitol is a common sugar alcohol [artificial] sweetener. Many gums available in Australia use it as a sweetener including some varieties of Extra.

    • Thanks, I'm after something that has a larger percentage of it though. Most of the other companies use it with other sweeteners.

I've no idea of the % xylitol, but I've seen lots of asian groceries (I think korean ones) that carry gum looking like this

    • Thanks I'll have a look tomorrow. I have Korean grocery store nearby too.

Update: Just got one from a Korean grocer. No idea if it is legit or not but it seems alright. Thanks mate. Owe you one.

It seems the Chinese grocers don't usually carry this gum.

      edit: other places to buy:

      from $5.50 (50pcs) free shipping: http://www.tinkerbellaustralia.com.au/Xylitol_Sweetened_Gum_…

Hah awesome! No worries at all. Hope it suits your tastes and/or dental needs ;)

        • Yep, most definitely. Better than all that sorbitol or apartsame gum. Xylitol for life now. Stops acid from my understanding. A few studies show it's promising for oral health.

Side note on Xylitol for any OB-er's out there who use products containing it… Keep said products away from any of your Best Friends of the K-9 variety, the stuff is proper bad for them.
