Air NZ got their timing wrong, should have done the promo before July 1. Everyone's now flying Qantas.

OK, I'm going to finally ask. I see people come into OzB and ask you to find bargain flights for them, and then (to me, at least) it appears you're just filling in the form and sending them the search results. Is that all you are doing? Do you have special search powers they don't have?

I'm just a bit confused why people don't fill in the form themselves if that's the case.

        • Also, the cheapest flight for that is $9,086!

        • @phidj003:
I am sure there is that top 0.5% in the ozbargain pyramid… haha..

  • Nice work i like i can fly from gc in this deal the 1.5 hour trainride back from brisneyland after a 14 hour on a plane isnt that appealing.

  • Another nice deal. Thank you :)

Cheap flights and great deal, it's just a shame the money you save in flights you now get screwed on the dollar exchange rate when you are there.

    • what do you do?
we have a crazy market, house market is booming, our dollar is going down so makes it hard trying to travel around the states since you'll need more money
      this is unbelievable

Couldnt find anything for SYD to MALDIVES or especially to PHUKET THAI return for around mid August??

  • Thanks finally some flights from Adelaide. Thanks.

  • Is premium economy on sale too?

I'm a person of size, so I'm not sure if I should book two seats in economy or premium economy

      how big are you

      • Not humongous, but I have broad shoulders. I thought a 9 hour direct flight to Bangkok on Thai Air was a nightmare in economy. Knowing this one will be twice as long has me pretty worried. I like the idea of being in an egg shell. I might go with that. Just a shame the 4 hour trip to Auckland is regular economy.

        • I know what you mean. I'm big across the shoulders too but that is because I lift.

I usually sit one in from the aisle as my shoulders get bumped by the food trolley

One tip I can give you is make sure your appearance is neat and tidy. Also ensure you smell nice so whoever sits next to you doesn't mind rubbing shoulders with you. Then again this would be a tip for travellers.

Also if you're a big rig like myself, make sure you get up and move around. If you can do a couple sets of pistol squats where the hostesses sit that is good. I would recommend 3 sets of 10 each leg. My body isn't made for a sedentary lifestyle

          @tith:

          All good.

Ended up booking premium economy return from Melbourne to LAX through Auckland. Called up ANZ and they upgraded my MEL/AKL economy seats to premium economy for free. Woo!

        • @Glitchlol: You mean Air NZ not ANZ bank!

  • Tempting, just shame about out dollar exchange rate now :(

Is it just me, or is the I Want That Flight website clunky compared to others like www.adioso.com? So hard to get pricing on a span of dates. What else do people use? Looking at a USA trip around Dec to Jan with flexible dates.

      Hi OZPanda,

Making flexible date search easier is definitely something we are looking into. The real difficulty is having enough data so that a flexible search is useful, and actually finds the best travel dates for you.

  • Are there any deals for Mel>LAX for April/May or do I need to wait a couple of months?

    • No deals at the moment, but you probably won't have to wait months for another sale.

  • I'm looking for the $928 flights from Melbourne for anytime from late December to mid January but can't find any at that price??

  • Bali deal pls…

  • Seems this deal finishes tonight (10/July). I've been scouring flights to USA all day, but alas the deals are dropping like flies now..
