Surprisingly the pebble red is more expensive nowadays….$10.91 more.

Hi….does anyone know if these will "pair" with the OnePlus? I' have a U38 Android watch which works OK with a Samsung S4, but it won't pair with the Cyanogen Android ROM used on the OnePlus……thanks in advance….Cheers
Yes it does. However I can't think why other devices wouldn't pair with the One, so you may have other problems. In any case, you always have Dick Smith to return it to, and Pebble support is pretty awesome if you strike trouble (they couriered a replacement when 1 of mine developed a fault)
Mine has also developed a fault, and although they took a few weeks days to get back to me they are doing the same, great service, spent 10 minutes all up on it, no calls back and forth speaking to poor teaches from other countries with rubbish training and no idea of what people in Oz consider good and fair customer service (in contrast to Acer!)

I also bought a cheap original Pebble as a tester before upgrading.
Loved it much more than I expected. Ordered the Pebble Time on Kickstarter, got it on Friday.
So far, its not proving to be the biggest upgrade. It looks nicer and is colour, but has similar functionality. Unless I am missing stuff…

Go the extra mile and buy the Pebble Steel, I bought it last night from DSE and picked it up this morning. It's the coolest watch I've ever had, I love being able to chuck a role face on it and then quickly scroll to a Japanese domo face.
The steel is still on sale, and looks a hell of a lot more suave and has the metal wrist band available from Amazon for $25US shipped.

The Pebble is very much a sports watch, so if its sport you're interested in, its a dirt cheap entry to smart watches.
If you know you want a watch with Android Wear or their appearance is more appealing, then go that route, but be prepared for minimal battery life, the '1.0' experience of a new product, and a watch product designed by phone manufacturers. Also be aware that the Pebble can absolutely go in the water - many of the Android Wear watches are best avoiding it (I don't recall specs on LG G).
