According to the RTA/RMS pink slips, blue slips have a fixed standard fee. I asked around for quotes and most quoted me the fixed standard fee whereas one particular dealership tried to rip me off and when I mentioned how the RTA website states there are fixed fees they just played dumb. Even though it is a couple of dollars more it is the principal and I'd hate to see people trust a service centre simply because they are a proper Honda/toyota/nissan shop.

Can any car dealer, mechanic, RTA, RMS, employee or anyone with experience confirm that such fees are fixed?
Work in the industry and can confirm you and the link are correct (received an email detailing our fees). They may charge less but not more than the listed maximum fees.
