Hihi, an elderly relative ask me to help with buying some bitcoins because the website only accepts this payment. They want to buy about $200 Aud to have some bitcoins to occasionally make some small payments.
Anyone can suggest a good place to buy it? Also which wallet to get to store it?
I have been trying to read up about it and don't really understand it.

I thought the main point of Bitcoin was anonymity but with very few exceptions, like the one above, you've got to provide comprehensive ID verification.
CoinJar's fees are fairly high by international standards but probably as good as you can get if you use an Australian based exchange, according to the information here.
If it's not already clear from what others have said, I'd be wary of any website ONLY accepting payment in Bitcoins…
