I know, wasn't negging, offering other options. As was pointed out that this ebay deal is only small sizes

  • I got some from Surfstitch with their 40% off footwear sale. Australian made and owned 'UGG Australia' brand for $87 delivered. Not a great deal but ok if you desperately need them.

    • Yes I saw the sale then, good price indeed.
However, the famous "UGG australia" brand is now US owned and made in China…

      • really? they bear the Australian made and owned logo but that could be incorrect.

        • Yes I saw that too, but as long as it's genuine brand I wouldn't concern too much. According to wiki, the brand was aquired by US company long time ago before become internationally renowned, and later on moved the production to China.

        • For me it's about supporting australian made and owned.

There are two "Ugg Australia" brands, the 'famous' one is US owned with boots made in China from Australian sheepskin. The other is Australian owned with boots made in Australia using sheepskin from their own tannery near Melbourne (most if not all other Australian made boots use sheepskin tanned in China).

        Australian Brand: http://www.uggaustralia.com.au/

Some info about the Australian company here:

        http://www.abc.net.au/news/2013-07-18/nrn-dist-ugg-boots/482…

"The company spent eight years in court fighting to retain their name after an American company, Deckers Outdoor Corporation, objected to their use of the term Ugg Australia, which Deckers have trademarked in the US and several other countries."

        • Thanks uvbunny. The tag said exactly that about the last tannery and being 100% Australian made and owned. Phew!

    • Is it still 40% off at Surfstitch?

      • Don't think so.
