Hi there, I recently started working around Exmouth and have found my Virgin sim doesn't get any coverage once I leave the centre of town. I was wondering what providers other than Telstra use Telstra towers and have phone+data or just data packages preferably that last more than a month and are more generous than Telstra's prepaid offers. My phone is unlocked.
Thanks! They only seem to have monthly packages :( Does next g mean that it has more coverage in remote places or that it's faster because I'm not fussed about data speeds.
Next g is the good reception part. 4g is for fast speeds.
I think boost has auto recharge so you don't need to buy credit each month it auto recharged and debits from your bank account.
Maybe try aldi mobile or Woolworths mobile but neither of those use the Full Telstra next g network and neither has unlimited calls.
NextG is Telstras marketing for its network.
Boost is 3G only which will be fine for you in these areas at the price.
Boost mobile is the only one that uses full telstra next g network.
