My CTP with Allianz was $501 last year and this year the renewal says $775. Any idea why it would be such a huge increase? I haven't had any accidents, claims, demerit points etc.

The indurance companies do this because many people just pay the renewal without questioning it or shopping around.
I'm with QBE and it increased by $10 this year.
Just shop around and see if you can ditch Allianz.
