LG G2 users please help

Hello Guys,

After bit of drama with TopBuy, their manager agreed to offer me a new LG G2 charger and his email said :

You can purchase a genuine charger on eBay with the link below and we'd like to reimburse you for the amount you have paid for:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/GENUINE-LG-G3-PRO-FLEX-MINI-G2-Ne…

Link says its 100% genuine charger and cable but it's 1.2 A.
Is it ok to have this 1.2 A ? or should ask them for 1.5A or 2.1A ?

Can you guys check your original LG G2 charger and let me know if its 1.2/1.5 or even 2.1A?

Thanks

    Amperage doesn't "matter".
    Voltage does matter..
Higher Amperage may be able to charge your phone faster, but will not affect the battery negatively if it is lower than original equipment.

FYI my Optimus G (ie LG G1) amperage is 1.2A.

  • From memory my G2 is 2.1A.. 1.2A will charge the phone but slowly. I would say that the charger on offer isn't originally intended for the G2.

  • Is it ok to have this 1.2 A ?

It will work, but won't charge as fast as a higher amperage charger.

  • Thanks guys, whats what I was expecting.
So I presume the original/genuine charger for LG G2 comes with 2.1A?

Also if someone can post me other link to buy the GENUINE LG G2 Charger it will be great.

  • According to my lg G2 charging history, chargin current is usually around 2000-2200 mah. Also I have third party high quality charger with 2A capacity, but after lollipop update it's just wont charge more than 1A. So try to get the genuine unless you like to play with custom firmware or kernel.
