Not to knock the deal, OP, but anyone here who has tasted Absolut (either plain or flavoured) as well as other vodkas: Do you find that Absolut has a funny taste to it? Even the smell..
Not sure whether it's just me, or whether it's actually an acquired taste :S I've tried countless brands of vodka, as well as various flavours of Absolut along with their unflavoured version. All had the distinct Absolut taste which I really can't stand personally.
Again - not knocking the vodka or the deal or anyone who enjoys it. Genuinely curious if others notice that it has a unique aftertaste compared to other voddies. It's clearly an incredibly popular brand so I'm inclined to think I'm in a real minority in not liking it at all.
Vodkas like Australia's Vodka O is really clean tasting in comparison.. but again, it could just be me with funny tastebuds lol.

I tried it recently and it's the only vodka I've ever been able to have straight without wanting to throw up.
I like Absolut, but only mixed.
