Where to Purchase a Nokia 208 at a Reasonable Price?

I'm looking at upgrading to a Nokia 208 as they're one of the few cheap feature phones left that support 3G (my current one is 2G). I'm wondering where and for how much I can get one of these? They seem to be as cheap as $19 dollars, but is that only on sale?

I'm already with Telstra prepaid, so it's not an issue if its locked to Telstra.

  • Why?

    • Because Telstra's 2G network is shutting down. Also my current phone lacks some features that I'd like.

      • No…why choose a 208?

        • Well I don't want a smartphone, and the 208 is cheap and exactly what I'm after as far as a feature phone is concerned. Do you have any other suggestions?

        • @deusy:
          The cheapest I could find was $39 David Jones. My recommendation would be a lumia 530.Smartphones are the way of the future.

          @nocure:
          The lumia 532 is on page 6 of the woolies catalogue, going for half price this week at $44.50 - doesn't mention if it's locked or who to though.

          Or grab the Telstra Cruise, on the same page, for $19.50 also half price, with 3G and looks close enough to the Nokia 208

        • @nismo:
          I'm definitely after a Nokia and not a generic Telstra phone.

  • Who doesn't want a smart phone? Or is the smart part a prerequisite?

    • I used to use an iPhone but I made the downgrade to a Nokia 3315 about 6 months ago. Feature phones do everything I need for a fraction of the size, weight and cost, as well as being far more durable. I haven't even thought about going back.

      Plus, texting on buttons is so much better.

      • I did the same when I swapped my BMW for a horse. So much easier to text on a horse.

  • I'll sell you mine.
