Best/Cheapest Method of Getting 30-50kg of Comicbooks from The US to The AU

I'm currently planning to order roughly a large amount of comic books from the US due to the substancial price difference between here and there. Problem is shipping 30/50kg of anything across countries can both be difficult and expensive. I've heard sea freight is probably the cheapest option but i have no idea what price range to expect.

So i'm just generally looking for any advice/suggestions for moving large/heavy boxes across countries.

Thanks!

    Definitely LCL seafreight.

It wont cost much at all, as to how much I am unsure (their minimum charge is $65 + doc fees etc for 1 tonne, but it also depends on the dimensions..)

Just google 'LCL cargo insert city you are shipping from to insert city you are shipping to' and see what you can find.

Alternatively you could possibly contact a local LCL consolidator like CaroTrans and ask if it was possible for their overseas agent to arrange it/ for them to provide you with a contact in your specific location.
