Accommodation in LA with baby

Hi All,

Please help me where is best to stay in LA under 300. I have a 9 months old baby travelling with us for the first time.
Friends recommonded Santa monica but I couldn't find any accommodation under 300 per night with clean hotel.
Please give me some recommendation which area and hotels to stay 2 nights.

Thanks for any reply :)

Magic Castle in Hollywood is a family hotel that apparently has amazing customer service

Have you tried Air BnB? a group of 9 of us stayed at a double story 'condo' in Santa Monica for about $30pp/night back in Jan 2014, had enough beds for all of us, was fully equipped. felt like staying at a mates place actually. was also a block away from venice beach pier.

Hire a Car while in LA. its cheap enough too

Every heard of Rubbish in Rubbish out?

LA is one of the biggest and certainly widest cities in the world.

Like in Sydney staying at Penrith when you want to get to Palm Beach, its not going be that practical.

So give us some more details.

    1. When and where in LA you are planning to visit - eg is it visiting friends, sightseeing, Disneyland etc. Are you there while an event is on, like the Super Bowl which will affect what you will have to pay?
    2. What are you doing to get around, if you have a car things get easier
    3. Whats your plan after LA, which will impact what options, like travel back to airport or bus station etc.
    4. What do you think is acceptable as a standard for a hotel. $300 should get some pretty good digs, $100 can also get clean hotels, but older and less convenient.

The Hollywood offer above might be clean but Hollywood is still a more run down area. ie Hotel can be clean but is it an area you are comfortable walking around in.
