Tesla Model X giveaway via referral

Not necessarily a deal, but I came across this on the news.

Apparently Tesla wants to play a game we OZBers very good at.

I mean, I'd like to see some OZBers drive a Tesla Model X down the road, perheps give me aride or get into uber business.

        You have to already own a Tesla to be eligible.

    the current owner will get a $1,000 discount that can be applied to a new car, service center visit or accessory. Referral discounts are limited to ten…

    So

    1. You must already own a Tesla
    2. The discount can only be used if you want to buy another Tesla (or for car servicing)
    3. Up to $10,000 discount can be used, so it would never be a free Telstra

    Any existing Tesla owners on OzBargain wanting to post your referral code? Not that I'll be able to afford one…

      The first person with 10 referrals in each distribution region gets a free Tesla.

      You just need more OzBargain users to be able to afford a Tesla ^-^
      Then again, you might spend more with more deals posted!

      1. False. You can use it in their online store and that includes merchandise.
      2. False. There is a free Tesla on offer.
      3. False. It is "Tesla", not "Telstra".

      Also I named my numbers 2, 3, 3 and ozbargain just rewrote it to "1, 2, 3".
