    Anyone learn the opportunity cost of time, or do you guys only live in caravan parks or can only afford to put 10 ppl from different families in 1 large house to save money.

        Being frugal isn't about saving money by any means necessary, It is to save time and money.

        You can do one thing which saves you money but it costs you time.

        You can do another thing which is time consuming AND costs money.

        You have to work out if time + cost = saving money. If not, you're not gaining a thing.

        But if cost + time saves you money, then you're on to a winner. Being cheap is being stupid.

          But spending a minute of time to get a free sample can be worthwhile as well. Quite a few samples I post directly to my Mum and she loves the thought and surprise when she gets it. Others like the Parampara spice mix has put me onto a product that I would never look at in the supermarket but really enjoyed and was a different dinner. Others like the dog samples our dog loves and these are often products I wouldn't buy as well. So even though it takes a minute or two effort, for me and I am sure for others it is worthwhile.

      Anyone learn that people do not act like rational money maximising machines or do you believe that people's behaviour is actually defined by a theory in economics.

      Do you believe you act like that because right now as you dick about about reading this site you are earning nothing and complaining how foolhardy people that earnt a small amount of money are compared to you.

    It's not entirely clear to me how to claim these samples; I realize it's days away, but the fb page linked to doesn't help me (must admit that I haven't as yet created a fb account to see if this tells me more).

    I have taken up pinchme offers in the past without problem.
