Was $129 yesterday, today dropped to $79. Specs/description/reviews look alright (I'm not too bright when its about cameras).
For someone who does not feel the need/want to buy the expensive gopro, i'll just treat this like a toy and have fun.

That's like saying red cars go faster.
It looks pretty good but after reading the reviews there are a few things that put me off. Audio is horrible and you don't really want to keep an external mic attached at all times, you can't press buttons when it's in the waterproof housing and colours are very oversaturated, skies and trees especially are wildly vivid. I also couldn't find information on FPS at lower resolutions.
Also worth noting is this from one review:
"The Silver edition of the Kogan Action Cam 3+ is priced at $149 and only comes with the waterproof housing but the Black Edition – priced at $159 – also has a windscreen mount, handlebar mount and helmet strap."
So it seems you'll need the now $89 Black to get more mounts than this comes with, but that's not mentioned on the Kogan site. Looks like a lot of fun for the price.
Also not sure how accurate their comparison is, as they say in their comparison that the GoPro doesn't come with a waterproof case.. LOL
I bought one of these a year or so ago…had to get a refund because there was pixellation/artifacts in all my footage, in the same place on the screen each time. Faulty as.
Got my refund and bought a GoPro the same day.
Don't bother with this. If you want a cheap action cam, at least buy it from a B&M store
or buy the original GoPro knock off - SJCam 4000
Anyone know the weight ? looking to mount to a Quadcopter X8C
I checked it quickly last night - it looks like it is the same as GoPro ~85 grams.
