Hi Ozbargainers!
I went to the good food and wine show last year and it was great! I'm looking to buy tickets soon but not sure what day I should buy (I'm not able to go Friday). Last year I went on a Saturday. I have heard good things about going on a Sunday but not sure if it's worth it as they might run out of stock etc. If any of you have some advice about which day is worth going it would be much appreciated! :)

My wife, young son and I went on a Friday in Melbourne (I got free tics via OzB), and we had an absolutely awesome time. As much free food of all sorts that we cared to eat, as much free booze of all sorts as 'we' (well, me; wife driving) cared to sample, enthusiastic representatives happy to be engaged in conversation, clean venue/amenities throughout, uncrowded (on Friday)…
It was the first time either of us had been to the event so we have nothing to compare it to, but we really enjoyed ourselves; I can't see how anyone could not have. May I ask what you didn't like about it t2h?
I've been going to this event since its inception in Melbourne. IMHO the previous years had a better array of foods and wineries. There were standouts this year, like the cheese alley, but I generally come home with a stack of stuff and this year I just didn't. Amongst the MIAs was Sport Ritter, subscribing to "Delicious", buying Reidel glasses for the tasters. I'm not saying people won't enjoy themselves, just that I was disappointed compared to previous years.

Anyone have any spare tickets for Friday they would swap for Saturday or Sunday tickets??
I went in Melbourne. We got freebie tickets through my work. Got to admit I was a bit disappointed by this years show. (It might be different in Sydney). I went on the Friday in Melbourne because there were less people. I usually take a day off work.
