the thing is sometimes i'm flying away for work for weeks I couldn't bring with me..
What I'd do in that case is grab one of the AA battery powered oral B ones. Chemist Warehouse has them on sale all the time. That way you can replace the battery if it runs out.
Easier than carrying around a charger that you can easily forget in hotel bathrooms and they aren't always multi voltage.
Another solution is If you travel to the US for example frequently you can go to a CVS and grab a cheap one that you can leave in your travel bag.
Or you can buy one of those cheap oral b electric toothbrushes for $20 (when on sale) and use the charger from that and keep the brush as a backup. From what I know, the chargers are interchangeable.

They aren't they are usually different.
I have a 5000 but it's charger have up the ghost. So I bought a cheap 500 model and I have been using that charger since with my old handle, no issues at all.
I think they've changed the chargers so they are all the same

Apart from anything else if you travel to the US you need to be really careful about plugging that into the wall due to the different voltage
The toothbrush lasts for a couple of days without charge the idea is that you share the twin pack with your wife/girlfriend/partner etc and you use the same bathroom so you can use the same charger.
