Ok before I jump the gun and neg this - like I did the ties

    Its $5.95 for shipping/handling right

and this would cost how much to actually post?

free is not free if you recover the costs in excessive postage and handling - right?

you could probably get away with posting it with a 55 cent stamp…

My thoughts as well. It's not going to be much to post, especially given size/weight and probably the bulk discounts they get.

  • i've seen these things irl and tbh they don' have much affect on 'increasing the life of your fruit' IMHO

  • kind of lame

    • yet you voted pos?

  • If it sounds too good to be true, that because it probably is. If this product was any good, it would be much more well known, even sold at Woolies, Coles, Fruit shops etc.

    • Why would supermarkets sell an item that increases the life of their produce?

      • they do sell stuff like this at coles. not bags, but stuff that you put in the fridge that absorbs the gas that speeds ripening. i forget the name of it.

You can get bags like this in supermarkets and they do work (I'm presuming these are as good as the supermarket ones). I use them all the time. Seem to work best the harder the vegetable (i.e. carrots). Particularly good for those of us that live alone - you can buy normal quantities of things and not have to chuck half of it out because it's gone off before you can use it.
