ING DIRECT - Any deals? High interest savings account?

Hi all,

I am planning to switch my savings account from NAB 3.05% to ING direct 3.50%. Feel free to suggest a better high saving interest account!

From my understanding of things, I need to create an Everyday Banking (to get the card) and also create a savings account right?

I've been seeing a lot of referral offers of $75 and having 2%-5% off using paypass, are these offers still valid? Should I wait till it comes back again? Or should I just make those two accounts and start earning interest!

I guess another question I have is, does ING direct usually have a higher interest rate than NAB and other banks?

    Yes ING does have higher interest rate. I am using for more than a year now, no issues. Let me know if you need referral offer. Cheers
