  • Thanks Op. There is a typo in the title. ScanDisk :)

BTW, is this any different to http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SanDisk-128GB-MicroSD-Memory-Card… ?

    • Thnks :) ebay one: File transfer speed is up to 48MB/s, whereas the one i posted has file transfer speed up to 80mb/s

      • you'll need to be very careful in what they say, transfer speed does not necessarily mean this card can write at that speed. The way I interpret it is you might be able to transfer (read) files stored from this card to another storage media at 80mb/s, and might not be the same the other way round. There's no way Sandisk would give their 80mb/s write speed to an Ultra label device, that speed is reserved for something more 'extreme'.

  • Make sure you read carefully

Up to 80MB/s read speed; write speed lower. Based on internal testing; performance may be lower depending on host device, interface, usage conditions, and other factors. 1 MB=1,000,000 bytes.

    That was off amazon's website

  • This says: "Performance/speed: Up to 48MB/s read speed"

    http://www.sandisk.com.au/products/memory-cards/microsd/ultr…

    • This is the updated product and havent been launched yet i guess, they starts selling from 20 AUG, that's why its a pre-order. It will have 80 Mb/s transfer speed.

      • +1

Do not be so certain. It will be up to 80MB/s read speed. The write speed is not so sure atm and will be tested. I personally believe the write speed will be around 15MB/s.

The SanDisk Ultra series is always a budget or enter level of the brand's microsd products.
